Tracey Daniels
Tracey Daniels is the Founder of Media Masters Publicity Consultants. Tracey has over 28 years of experience in children’s book, graphic novel, and non-fiction publicity. Tracey focuses on managing successful, best-selling, award-winning publicity campaigns and author tour strategies.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Tracey realized her true passion was working with books and authors. She has a Master’s in Innovative Leadership and Entrepreneurship from Western Carolina University. Tracey is also recognized as a CNP (Certified Nonprofit Professional) from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance and has a Digital Marketing and Public Relations certificate.
After living in the Philadelphia and Chicago suburbs, Tracey and her family moved to Tryon, NC (population: 1,200). She lives with her husband and three corgis, Bilbo Waggins, Maisy Mouse, and Oscar Wilde. She is a proud member of the historic Lanier Library, one of seventeen “membership” libraries in the country (only 0.2 miles from the MMP office).
Karen Engler
Karen Engler, Lead Booking Manager for Media Masters Broadcast, is a 24-year industry vet and book publicist. She has an excellent working knowledge of the media and vast experience with books from all genres, including lifestyle, non-fiction, cookbooks, and children’s titles. She has an uncanny knack for creating effective pitching angles and has hundreds of trusted relationships with producers and editors nationwide. Karen lives in the Bay area, just outside San Francisco.
Samantha Bell
Samantha Bell, Assistant Publicist, is a former public librarian. She is also a freelance writer and works as an educational writer for multiple mainstream children’s book publishers. Sam lives just outside downtown Tryon. We love that she is an integral part of our team!

Judith Mason
Judith Mason is MMP Consultants’ bookkeeper and virtual assistant. She also handles media contact research and database upkeep.
